Download and Log In to the Emburse Chrome River App

The Emburse Chrome River app is currently only available to US-based Chrome River Expense users.

Download the Emburse Chrome River App

The Emburse Chrome River app is available in the US Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

1. Navigate to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.

2. Search for "Emburse Chrome River."

3. Locate the Emburse Chrome River app and click Get or Install.

4. Follow the onscreen instructions to authorize installation of the app.

Log In to the Emburse Chrome River App

Once you have downloaded the Emburse Chrome River app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, log in to the app using your Chrome River credentials.

1. When you open the app for the first time, tap Log In.

2. On the login screen, enter the same email address you use to access Chrome River and click Continue.

3. If your organization uses an IDP/SSO service to access Chrome River, you will be directed to that login page. If your organization uses Chrome River's standard login page, you will be directed there to enter the same credentials you use to log in to Chrome River.

Once you have logged in, you will remain logged in for at least 30 days. The session will be extended by 30 days every time you use the app, for a maximum of 90 days.

If the app remains idle for 15 minutes, you will need to unlock it via your device's PIN or biometrics, but you will not be required to log back in.

Login Error Messages

You may receive one of the following error messages if your organization has not been configured properly for the Emburse Chrome River app.

Your organization has not been set up for Mobile. Please reach out to your application system admin.

If you see this error message, report it to your Chrome River administrator. The admin will work with Chrome River's suport team to resolve the mobile configuration issue.

Something went wrong; we couldn't authenticate you. Please try again or contact Support.

This error usually occurs when the user record is not being properly recorded in Emburse's authentication system. Notify your Chrome River admin so that they may create a case with our support team to work on resolving the issue.

Log Out of the Emburse Chrome River App

While it is recommended that you remain logged in for the best user experience, you may manually log out by tapping the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the home screen, then tapping Log Out at the bottom of the screen.
